On this episode Matt sits down with Ken Shombala. Ken discovered during business school in 97’ that his true talent lay elsewhere. This realization led him to training with advanced yogis, Ayurvedic masters and traveling the world practicing both internal and external healing arts. By 25, he stepped in to substitute a class at an elite healing retreat in LA, and within a year, he became the manager of healing arts and classes at The Ashram in Malibu, serving a clientele that included Cindy Crawford and Oprah. While teaching at this high level for five years, Ken earned a master's in psychology, pursued half of a PhD, and continued his training with Kabbalah mystics, Korean samurai, and advanced alchemists.
Continuing his healing journey as a high school teacher in Maui, entrepreneur and founder of Alchemy Blends, one-on-one coach, and alchemist for the past 20 years, Ken's path has led to this moment with you.

He’s also a Kriya Yoga practitioner through KYI and a certified mindfulness & meditation teacher. His day job is centered around ads and mindfulness in Big Tech. A devoted husband and father of four, Rob draws inspiration from the boundless curiosity and enthusiasm his children have for life and nature. As a former Marine and combat veteran, he brings the discipline and dedication he gained in the military into every aspect of his creative process.
Rob’s artwork is characterized by its playful, uplifting nature. His art features harmonious color schemes and fluid lines that are designed to spark joy and keep the viewer engaged. With a trippy and illustrative style rooted in his first love—drawing—Rob blends original characters with abstract shapes, producing one-of-a-kind pieces that captivate both the eyes and the mind. Primarily working with acrylic on canvas, Rob has also made his mark with large-scale outdoor murals, including several for Houston’s renowned HUE Mural Festival. His versatility extends to graphic design as well, having earned a BFA from West Chester University. Over the years, Rob has crafted countless logos and graphics, blending his passion for both traditional and digital media.

On this episode Matt sits down with the man behind electronic music project Baxtak, Aryan Ashoori. Aryan is the founder of the progressive music label Outtallectuals, and is the manager and co-curator of the popular YouTube music channel Shivelight.
Growing up in Iran, Aryan developed a rebellious nature, attending hundreds of metal shows, and later electronic music shows and raves. After attempting to form a band, he eventually landed on creating music as a solo producer. He then began experimenting with psychedelics, leading him to an insight to found his own record label, Outtallectuals.
Later on he teamed up with the founder of Shivelight, Samaya, providing a fresh world-music taste to the curation of the channel. The collaboration between the two lead the channel to new heights, making it one of the most popular world & bass music channels on YouTube today.

For the season 7 premiere of the podcast Matt sits down with Brent Pella. Brent Pella is a stand up comedian and filmmaker whose videos have gained 500M+ views online and was recently named a "Creator to Watch" by the New York Comedy Festival. A graduate of both the full Groundlings and UCB improv/sketch programs, Brent is best known for his digital comedy content that often satirizes American politics and trending social/cultural issues, as well as his viral celebrity impressions of CA governor Gavin Newsom, Eminem, Joe Rogan and more.
On stage, Brent has been a cast member of MTV's Wild 'N Out since season 16, and currently tours the US performing stand-up at comedy clubs, colleges and music festivals throughout the country. His debut comedy special is set to release in early Spring 2024.
Brent has written and directed commercial campaigns for national brands including Hopdoddy Restaurants and Black Rifle Coffee under his production company Good Trip Entertainment. Brent also hosts the Good Trip Podcast, a 10-part series of conversations around psychedelics. Past guests have included Rock Doblin (founder, MAPS), David Bronner (CEO, Dr. Bronner's) and others.

Joshua is the former Creative Producer for OPUS Immersive, a former touring comedian and Second City Conservatory graduate. On this episode of Xian Archive Matt sits down with Siri Bahadur Khalsa. Siri has taught yoga using pranayama, kriyas, mantra, meditation and sound therapy to thousands of students over the last three decades in Texas. A long time practitioner of Kundalini Yoga, his practice has developed into a style known as “Yoga in the Garden of Shuniya”, where he directs the focus of the practice on the employment of Shuniya, also known as accessing the Zero Point Field. He also uses mantra and live music for an experience of Sacred Sound as an access to healing energy for the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
